Tax Relief on Donations

Under the Revenue Commissioners' "Scheme of Tax Relief for Donations of Money or Designated Securities to 'Eligible Charities' and other 'Approved Bodies'" (CHY2) Youth Suicide Prevention Ireland has been an "Eligible Charity" since December 2010 and, as such, any donations made to us over €250 would be subject to tax relief.

Donations made under this scheme must be on a no profit basis, i.e. the donor derives no benefit from the donation. The charity can confirm this by issuing a CHY2 Donation Receipt to the donor.
